I would say that there were tears, tantrums and tiaras today, but I wasn't wearing a tiara. After a very stressful few days with a teen, a very busy hubby with deadlines to meet, venues to seek, money to find for his end of year exhibition, and a cranky bubby who has decided sleeping through the night is no longer her thing, mumma had had enough.
Today also included going to three separate supermarkets in three separate suburbs for our monthly picnic supplies, as no one store had everything we needed. Hubby vacced- thankfully, he had a helper. I cleaned our walk in robe completely, camouflaged some ultra blond streaks that keep appearing in my dark locks, then made the family food. Hubby also did two loads of washing before sanding, sawing and drilling in our tiny backyard, making a wall for his upcoming exhibition. This all happened around a very, very cranky little bubby who didn't seem to know what she wanted.
Today felt eternal, especially as at around 4:45am I grabbed a banana for a snack as I woke yet again for bubby, and that ended up being my sustenance until after noon. Thankfully, I did manage a cuppa before running out the door.

Today I ate this...
Breaky: banana at 4:45am
Morning tea: Coffee
Lunch: Cheesy 3 egg omlette with short crust bacon, onion, apple at 1pm, shared with hubby.
Dinner: Low carb rice with almonds, bacon and veg stir fry at 5pm.
My dinner- simple but satisfying.
Hubby and teens dinner: savoury pancake topped with chicken mince with mexican seasoning. Top with grated cheese, grill. Top again with sour cream and chopped red capsicum. Simple and filling.
That is your lot for the day. I must now bath and calm a sweet little bubby down. It's been a big day for us all!
